The problem was critical. Earlier that day, a man named Ganjara (Gambler) had appeared in court.
Using clever challenges and misleading tactics, he had won the entire royal treasury in a bet. No one had been able to stop him.

Vasu: “Your Majesty, since my defeat is certain anyway, I leave the choice to Mr Ganjara. I am ready to play whatever game he chooses”.
Everyone was stunned. They felt the boy was betraying them and losing on purpose.
“Your Majesty, we also play betting games at my school. However, students often cheat and refuse to hand over the stakes after losing. So, we made a rule: whatever is being wagered must be deposited by both parties before the game even begins”.
Ganjara said: “I am ready. I don’t trust you either, so I was about to suggest the same thing”.
