1. I purchase a fan regulator ( Anchor Penta Panasonic), gave the AC supply with the diode D1 shown in the diagram to use triac a SCR cathode side and put a bulb as a load, working OK.
2. I put an extra circuit to give a negative bias of 25 milliama dc to the gate of triac and cathode and viceversa, as shown in the circuit, just to block the conduction. But bulb is glowing much more, instead of blocking the triac. Kindly explain
3. What type of additional circuit can I put to block the conduction of triac and what bias through the manual switch can be given during normal working half wave AC fan regulator.

1 – Sory, that I saw your comment today only.
2 – To switch off triac, no extra circuit is required, you have to just remove gate signal. Do not give any gate current to switch off it.
3- Concept of triac and thyristor is little same for switching it, except the ditrection of the load current.
4 – I made a detailed video on the tyristor working ON OFF concept. YOu can see it on my youtube channel. Giving link for Hindi versiuon. English version is also available.
5 – Negative gate current is required to switch OFF GTO and not for Triac.
